Avocado

I've been trying to sprout an avocado pit for the last week or so, it's been sitting in a little water in a jar outside in the sun on the back door deck. Today I'm sitting outside reading and both Amy and Monica ask me what I'm growing so I tell them. So they ask, so you think it will really turn into another avocado? And I was like...wow, seriously? and told them no, actually it might sprout into a plant and become an avocado tree if the refrigeration didn't kill it.

SERIOUSLY? hahahahaha an avocado pit turn into another magical avocado? Wow. WOW. Monica is a BIOLOGY major and you know, Amy lives on this planet?
